Events Rental

The Revolving Arts Gallery offers a unique setting for small private receptions, birthday-anniversary parties and fund raising events. The artful setting located in historic Hendersonville our 1902 building is a 3500 square foot, one-level space featuring contemporary fine-art and fine-craft by local and regional artists. The gallery is smoke-free and free parking is available along the public streets near and around the building. City parking lots are conveniently located within a couple of blocks.

Planning an Event

The Gallery reserves the right to review special event plans including décor and entertainment to ensure they are compatible with the gallery’s event criteria

Food and Beverage

Caterers need to be arranged by the renter however, we can recommend some local caterers and wine shops, if necessary.

You must be able to provide your own tables and chairs. A portable stage from our lower level can be made available.

Alcohol

A certificate of insurance liability for a minimum $1 million will need to be provided by event sponsor if there is to be alcohol served.

Rental Fees

$100 per hour based on a minimum four-hour rental period plus $20 per hour for a mandatory gallery assistant. An additional assistant is available for another $10 per hour.

Rental fees include full use of gallery space and handicap accessible bathroom.

Rental fees do not include any food, beverages, tables, chairs, microphone and/or sound- lighting system.

Decorations

The Gallery reserves the right to pre-approve all signage and decoration

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING can be affixed to any interior or exterior walls.

Client must remove all decorations, trash, garbage and equipment brought to the gallery.

Damages

The client is responsible for any and all damages that occur as a result of the event

Special Rental

Non Profits and/or charitable organizations putting on events depending on need will receive a 50% rental discount from the gallery owners as a donation for special event fundraisers. In special circumstances, the gallery owners will be provide the gallery space “free” after reviewing special requests a small fee may be collected for damage deposit, utilities, gallery staff etc during the event.

Payment Terms

50% non-refundable rental fee deposit and signed agreement with the Revolving Arts Gallery.

Non-refundable balance is due 5 days prior to the event

Any overtime will be billed separately and due immediately following the event.

Payment Options

We accept Discovery, Mastercard and Visa. Checks will be accepted from established clients only. Two (2) forms of picture IDs must be presented upon request.

The Revolving Arts Gallery offers  layaway and “Easy Pay” options for our customers. A non-refundable deposit is required, and payment schedule will be determined by the Revolving Arts Gallery.

Gift Certificates

We are pleased to offer gift certificates available in any amount to our customers. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

Shipping/Handling

We are able to ship our products anywhere in the U.S. & Canada. We offer UPS, FedEx, and USPS Priority Mail. Our shipments are also insured. Please ask regarding International Shipment – Costs associated.

Please ask about shipping estimates as these will have to be arranged prior to sending and included in customer’s charge.

Delivery Services

Free delivery is available anywhere within 15 miles of our location. Between 15 and 30 miles, there is a $25.00 fee for delivery (this does not include hanging or placing the work) and beyond 30 miles will be quoted by The (R)evolving Arts Gallery associates.

Commissions/Custom Orders

Together, the Gallery and the commissioned artists will work with you to bring your vision to reality. Keep in mind that beyond the Gallery’s initial contact the client will be working with artist directly on the commission/custom order. It is suggested that you bring your ideas of color, texture, design and size so the artist can begin the dialogue with you.

Pricing for these projects is established by the Gallery and the Artist. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required with the balance due upon delivery of the completed artwork.

Custom orders of existing artwork are available upon request. Due to the original nature of the work in our gallery it will be similar but not exact.
