Desert Moon Designs artists Julie Spalla and David Lookingbill have temporarily moved their working studio to Transformation Glass Studio in the lower level of the Cherry Cottage in Flat Rock’s Little Rainbow Row. Our hours are Monday thru Wednesday, 11:00 to 4:00 and Thursday thru Saturday, 11:00 to 6:00.

As Desert Moon Designs, we are producing and creating original works for sale in the gallery area of this studio.  Desert Moon Designs will have sculptural and functional fused glass, precious metal clay (fine silver) jewelry, mixed media and botanicals.  Our working studios are still a part of the bigger vision to keep handmade arts and craft alive in Western North Carolina. We are projecting that we will re-open The (R)evolving Arts Gallery in a new location, in Asheville, NC, this fall.
